The National Broadband Network is coming to Australia and Via IP fully embraces this initiative. Currently residential grade trials are in place, but so there has been no talk on business offerings at this stage.

Via IP is positioned to take on the National Broadband service as soon as they become available to us to pass onto our clients. At this stage we are doing massive upgrades of core Network service to support the increase in capacity that becomes available.

QOS and Network smarts will be key to manage the massive increase in data volumes when used for converged networks.
