SOHO2 DSL

If your business operates from a small network of computers and telephones, it is smart to consider Via IP’s SOHO2 DSL.

SOHO2 DSL will be installed on your existing PSTN line and will give you access to high speed broadband, without disrupting your existing telephone signal. It offers a cost effective alternative to ISDN or other leased line solutions and a higher grade of service to ADSL2 or SDSL.

SOHO 2 DSL is a fully scalable solution for your business. Via IP offers monthly entry level plans to suit your business requirements.

Lets Get Technical

An SOHO2 access service connects a Customer site to the Core Network using an Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) service.

These services can be provisioned at speeds ranging from 256Kbps/64Kbps through to 24Mbps/1Mbps although the maximum bandwidth available to the Customer is subject to distance from the exchange and copper line quality.

Multiple VLANs are NOT supported on a single SOHO2 access. Customer frames are transported over the Customer’s half duplex Telecommunications Line to the Access Network, which then delivers the traffic to the Core Network.

Contention on the last mile transmission service is not disclosed. Contention at the Via IP network Ingress point is based on Internet Grade (less than 100:1) and Office Grade (less than 20:1). Voice and Video traffic is supported only in conjunction with a Via IP managed Cisco router.
