B.E.N. is a nationwide network delivered via Ethernet. One of the advantages of B.E.N. is that it is scalable to fit your company’s needs. It allows your network to grow with you as your business expands. As an aggregator, Via IP’s B.E.N. coverage is greater than all of the major Tier 1 providers put together. We are flexible about who we partner with. Therefore we can ensure you receive the best possible last mile access solution to fit your company’s requirements today.

We offer the best in the industry SLA’s with 24x7 support and rapid restoration targets. Your network is being carefully monitored by the certified engineers of our Network Operations Team (NetOPS) who are available to you anytime of the day to identify and correct any problems that might occur. Via IP delivers extremely high availability with uptime targets of 99.9% or greater with options for 99.999% via High Availability configurations.

High performance Ethernet network
B.E.N. is suitable for businesses that require reliable data, voice and video networks. These converged networks require a consistent full duplex, symmetrical service of the highest availability. Our Full ULL service provides you with an end-to-end solution, mitigating downtime due to 3rd Part Line faults and without the need to install a separate PSTN line. It is you who chooses on what scale you would like to run your business. Our speeds range from 256/256Kbps to 1/1Gbps. Using B.E.N. is an excellent way for your business to obtain high quality and low latency bandwidth nationally. It allows you to run critical network applications like Voice over IP (VoIP) and video conferencing without any interference of your email and Internet traffic.

Our managed QOS enables us to guarantee customized levels of application and performance for your converged traffic. Via IP’s B.E.N. service is also backed by a technical SLA to ensure we meet our promise of performance to you. Via IP’s Managed Services allow your business to take full advantage of our B.E.N service without the need for additional staff or expert IT consultants.

Lets Get Technical

Business Ethernet Network (B.E.N.) connects a Customer site to the V+1 Core Network via an Ethernet Interface, using a Symmetrical / Full Duplex based service delivered to the Customer’s site.

The services can be provisioned at speeds ranging from 512/512Kbs through to 1Gbps/1Gbps although the maximum bandwidth available to the customer may be 5% less than the subscribe bandwidth due to the overheads for Ethernet transport.

Multiple VLANS can be supported on a single B.E.N. service and dedicated bandwidth policing is available per VLAN. Accordingly, only one or two VLANs are recommended per service.

Customer frames are transported over the Customer’s full duplex Telecommunications Line to the Access Network, which then delivers the traffic to the Core Network.

Contentions on the last mile transmission service are either 1:1 or 4:1

End to end Quality of Service is available on all B.E.N. services.
