Lets Get Technical
Overview
Business Grade Wireless Access service connects a Customer’s site to the Via IP Network via an Ethernet interface, using a Symmetrical, full duplex business grade wireless last mile circuit.
The services can be provisioned at speeds ranging from 1Mbps/1Mbps through to 1Gbps/1Gbos, although the maximum bandwidth available to the Customer may be 5% less than the subscribe bandwidth due to the overheads for Ethernet transport.
Multiple VLANs can be supported on a single Access service and dedicated bandwidth policing is available per VLAN. Accordingly, only one or two VLANs are recommended per service.
Customer’s frames are transported over the Customers circuit the Via IP Network, which then delivers the traffic to the Core Network and onto its destination.
Contention on the last mile transmission service ranges from undisclosed for the unlicensed services to 1:1 for licensed frequency services.
End to end Quality of Service is available on all Business Grade Wireless Access services.
